Hello Parents! I hope everyone is having a great week. I can't believe that October is almost over and the holidays are starting up. I love the fall weather we have FINALLY been getting. It's nice to go outside at the playground and not be sweaty and tired 5 minutes in to playing. I think the kids are really enjoying seeing the change in the season and they have been pointing out the dropping temperatures, changing leaves, and the difference in the sun. With the weather cooling down, please do not forget to send your child with appropriate clothing such as a jacket and long pants. Also, please label their jackets so they can return home with the right owner.
We have been busy learning some new information this week. This week we are learning: Reading- how to read information texts (We are learning about SPIDERS!) Writing- using letter sounds to spell words Phonics- Letters r, Ss, Tt, Uu Math- Counting objects up to 20 Sight Words: the, like I enjoyed seeing a lot of you at the Fall Festival last Saturday. Thank you to all the volunteers and people who donated items to make it a HUGE success! Content- Nocturnal animals
